Turn Your Child's ESA Funds Into Real Skills

If your child holds an Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account, you already have a way to pay for real, hands-on skills at The Shooting Range. We are a registered ESA vendor and accept ClassWallet for our youth programs. Instead of only covering books and tutoring, those funds can cover firearm safety, marksmanship, leadership, and first aid training, taught by our certified instructors in a controlled, age-appropriate setting.

WHAT IS THE ESA PROGRAM?

Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program gives K-12 students state education funds deposited directly into a ClassWallet account. Families use those funds on approved educational expenses, and that list reaches well beyond books and tutoring into hands-on instructional programs like ours. Every K-12 student in Arizona qualifies, regardless of family income or academic background, and funds generally run in the range of $7,000 to $10,000 per student each year. Unused funds roll over year to year, so if your family already has an account, there is likely money sitting there ready to put toward real skills.

SKILLS YOUR CHILD WILL BUILD

MARKSMANSHIP &
FUNDAMENTALS

Firearm safety, proper stance, grip, and trigger control, taught step by step by certified instructors.

SAFETY &
FIRST AID

Situational awareness, emergency response, and Stop the Bleed training that carries far beyond the range.

LEADERSHIP &
CONFIDENCE

Respect, responsibility, and the kind of confidence that comes from mastering something real.

OUR ESA-ELIGIBLE PROGRAMS

Kids Camp is our flagship program for ESA families, but it’s not the only option as your child grows.

KIDS CAMP

Two days of firearm safety, marksmanship, and life-readiness training built for ages 8 to 16. Day one covers safety fundamentals, situational awareness, and Stop the Bleed training. Day two builds on that with basic marksmanship under close supervision. Your child leaves with real skills in respect, responsibility, and confidence, taught by our certified youth instructor in a safe, age-appropriate setting. $140 for the full two-day program.

As your child gets older, ESA funds can also go toward our teen and adult foundational classes, including Intro to Pistol, Intro to Carbine, and Intro to Shotgun for ages 16 and up, plus a Women’s Only Intro to Pistol class. Every class includes a 30-day unlimited range time card, so the learning continues well past the first session.
