We've been family owned in Queen Creek since 2010, and Amanda and Liz have run The Shooting Range under full ownership since 2019, built on the idea that a range should teach people, not just rent them a lane. Most folks who want to learn to shoot don't feel like they belong at a gun range, and closing that gap between curiosity and confidence is still what we do every day.

Questions Before You Visit
I've never shot a gun before. Is this place for me?
Absolutely. A big part of why we exist is to make shooting accessible to people who’ve never done it. If you want to ease in, we offer a free 30-minute Pistol Fundamentals classroom session, no live fire, no loud noises, just the basics in a calm environment. Walk-ins are always welcome, and our staff will make sure you’re comfortable before you ever step onto the range.
Do I need a reservation, or can I just walk in?
Walk-ins are always welcome for range time. Classes require advance registration since space is limited. We recommend calling ahead during peak hours, afternoons and evenings tend to be busier.
What do I need to bring for my first visit?
Just a valid photo ID. We have everything else covered: eye protection, ear protection, rental firearms, and ammunition available for purchase on-site. If you own a firearm and want to bring it, you’re welcome to.
What's the minimum age to shoot?
The minimum age to shoot here is 6 years old. Ages 6 through 12 shoot for free. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. To rent a long gun you must be 18 years old, and to rent a handgun or NFA item you must be 21 years old.
How much does it cost to shoot?
Lane rental is $18 per person per hour. Handgun, long gun, and NFA rentals are a flat $20 fee. Machine gun rentals are priced individually, please call the store for more information. Members pay no lane fee at all, memberships start at $24.95 a month. See our membership plans.
What are your hours?
Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Sunday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours may vary on holidays, so it’s worth a quick call ahead if you’re visiting around one.
