ABOUT US

We've called Queen Creek home for nearly two decades, and although our name has changed, our mission and values never have.

Our Story

This range didn’t start out as The Shooting Range. Before it carried our name, it operated under different ownership, and Amanda joined the business in 2011 as an employee, working her way into a management role and learning every part of the operation from the ground up.

Not long after, Liz Robinson bought into the business, and the range changed hands and took on a new name. Ownership shifted again over the years that followed, but the team behind the counter and the values that built the place stayed the same.

In 2020, Liz and Amanda bought out their remaining partners and became sole owners. They kept the same logo and the same friendly service customers had always counted on, and simplified the name to what it’s known as today: The Shooting Range.

More than a decade after Amanda first walked through these doors, she and Liz are still the ones running it, day in and day out.

Before any of that, Amanda spent years as a scuba instructor, traveling and teaching people to trust themselves underwater. That same instinct, watching someone nervous become capable, is what drew her into this business, and it still shapes how The Shooting Range trains every new shooter today.

What We Believe

We Welcome Everyone

No question is too basic, and no one gets judged for what they do not know yet, whether it is their first visit or their five-hundredth.

We Teach, Not Just Transact

We are not renting lanes. Every visit is a chance to leave someone more confident than when they walked in.

Safety Is a Culture

Safety is not a checklist we hand you at the door. It is built into how we train staff and run every class.

Meet the Owners

Liz Robinson and Amanda Krugen own The Shooting Range together. Liz brings the long-term vision and a passion for the Second Amendment that first drew her into the business. Amanda runs day-to-day operations and leads the same way she always has, on the floor, knowing customers by name, and caring whether they leave better than they arrived. Every decision about this range, from safety rules to new classes, is made by people who show up here themselves.

Come see the range that has always been about more than the range.
