Katie is a firearms instructor with a passion for helping women and families feel confident and capable around firearms. With over 20 years shooting experience, 10 years in the industry, and 5 years as a certified instructor, she brings both knowledge and patience to every class.
Katie understand that for many women and families, learning to shoot can be a big (and sometimes intimidating) step. Her goal is to make that step feel safe, welcoming, and empowering. She creates a supportive environment where students can ask questions, learn at their own pace, and build real confidence in their skills. Whether you’re brand new to firearms or looking to strengthen your foundation, Katie is here to help you feel comfortable, capable, and in control.

Kari worked in a sworn law enforcement capacity for almost 18 years and has an array of experience in firearms, including investigations involving firearms usage as well as self-defense firearms usage. As a part of her tenure with law enforcement, she also worked in a special operations division which included tactical training and experience. She is an AZPOST certified Firearms Instructor as well an NRA handgun, rifle and shotgun instructor. Kari enjoys all aspects of teaching from beginners to advanced and provides instruction for every skill level. Kari specifically enjoys teaching tactical related classes in a group or private setting to help build confidence and proficiency in firearms usage.

Scott brings over a quarter century of experience as a Federal Agent with the Department of Justice and over 15 years experience with a federal SWAT team. Scott is a Tactics, DHS Certified Firearms, and NRA Instructor. He has extensive experience in teaching both handgun and long gun use, but he most enjoys instructing people on concealed carry and shooting from concealment.

Kyle has been with us since 2014 as an instructor. He works closely with new shooters of all age groups including the Boys and Girls Club, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts of America. Whatever your skill level, Kyle can provide a safe and friendly learning experience that can take you from firing your first shots to more progressive skill levels that will meet your individual goals. He is an avid outdoorsman and firearms enthusiast with years of experience. He is a certified NRA Instructor for Pistol, Rifle, and Personal Protection in the Home.
